Sooooo I've not really updated since before last weekend, which was the best weekend I have had for a long long time.
I got to Temple Meads and met Dad and Marie at the pub at the bottom of the station road. They told me that they were getting a pub, which sounded interesting, but I doubted it would be that great. Lou and Nathan appeared, and we went back to their house. Despite them living about 25 miles from Bristol, it took us two hours to get to Shepton Mallet, the nearest big town to them. Ah, city rush hours.
We got to their LOVELY detatched house in a little village (its SO nice. I would say how much it is, but it scares me to be honest, and its kinda rude (probably)) and Lou started to produce a 20 person sized buffet for the four of us. Adam arrived soon after, which was very scary as he was wearing a SUIT. Adam is a canoooooist (i like that spelling better) and is usually found wearing jeans, fleeces and smells of mould. So to see him smart was just weird. He went upstairs and managed to find some mould to wear. By the way, mould is a weird word. Say it out loud. Mould. Mooooooooould.
We made our new Mii's on the Wii and played some bowling. Nathan has the most hilarious bowling pose ever. I am far too enthusiastic and nearly jump into the TV each time.
So on Saturday, we got up and watched some QVC (Lou still has a massive thing for QVC) and Nathan went to his friends house to do something for work. Adam drove us to Cribs (oooooh I love Cribs) and we shivered up to the big front doors. Where we found Nathan with Deanne and Jason! Dee had said that she couldn't make it down, but her and Lou had secretly set it all up without me and Adam knowing. We went for some food, and then back into the Mall. The girls split up from the boys, who managed to go through all of the stores in about 40 minutes. We had managed 5 stores in that time. We went into Topshop where I managed to find some pink Moomin pjamas as Nathan is absolutely scared of them. We walked out of the store, which is when I actually thought about it and asked Lou "Is it weird that I'm buying pjamas for your boyfriend?" We decided that we shouldn't think about it like that.
So we got back to Lou's house, and Nathan made his yummy mooses milk. Mmm. I think this may have to be made again when I have a party. Lou and Nathans perfect little house is not only perfect because its really lovely, but also it is right across the road from the local pub. We ate at the pub (lovely steaks!) and went back to the house to play some more bowling and also Mario and Sonic Olympic Games.
On Sunday, Lou made a massive fry up and Adam drove home. Me, Lou, Dee and Jason drove to Temple Meads where Dee and Jason left, and me and Lou went up to Clifton Village for some tea (although I soon realised why the students at Uni of Bris annoy me so much! I've not seen that much Jack Wills since...well, since I was in Clifton last)
On Monday, I travelled from the little village to Bath (via Castle Cary...what a strange little station that is!) and went shopping. I was hoping to meet Jax for lunch, but she was a big lamo (haha). My suitcase handle broke, so I went into Bristol to meet Maria and thought I would pop into Debenhams where I bought the suitcase from originally - the handle had broken by a screw coming out. Instead of the screw, they gave me a whole new suitcase. Unpacking all of my stuff from the purple suitcase then putting it into the new pink suitcase was a interesting thing to do on the top floor of a department store.
I got back to Chester and back to work the day after. Sigh.
Oh, and by the way, gravity in Somerset is messed up because you just keep dropping everything. Like Nathan managing to slam a place face down (full of food) into the table from about 3 inches above.
